Itinerary

Day 1

Dehradun → Gaichwan Gaon

Drive: 180–200 km · 6–7 hrs · Pickup: Prince Chowk (06:30)

Early morning pickup and scenic drive through Mussoorie foothills to Gaichwan Gaon. Brief village orientation and overnight stay.

Day 2

Gaichwan Gaon → Julota

Trek: ~7 km · 6–7 hrs · Altitude: 5600 ft → 8950 ft

Forest trails through oak & pine, opening into alpine meadows. Camp at Julota with views of nearby snow ranges.

Day 3

Julota → Lower Pukhrola

Trek: ~4 km · 3–4 hrs · Altitude: 8950 ft → 10800 ft

Gradual ascent across ridges and meadows to Pukhrola campsite — ideal for acclimatisation and photography.

Day 4

Pukhrola → Kedarkantha Summit → Julota

Trek: ~10 km · 7–8 hrs · Summit: ~12,500 ft

Pre-dawn ascent to catch sunrise from the summit. Spectacular panoramic views followed by return descent to Julota.

Day 5

Julota → Gaichwan Gaon

Trek: ~7 km · 6–7 hrs · Descent back to villages

Relaxed descent through forests and village trails, arriving at Gaichwan Gaon for rest.

Day 6

Drive back to Dehradun

Drive: 180–200 km · 6–7 hrs

Breakfast and departure—scenic drive back to Dehradun with drop at ISBT/Railway Station.
